When your business is running on all cylinders, you feel it.
There is an underlying current that generates momentum and your efforts just seem to work. And it shows – in your KPI’s, in your culture and in your reputation. We want to help you capture and harness this energy, driving you to success.
The process: ForthRight Business.
See what it can do for you.

01
Strategic + Action Planning for your Business
Getting your business running on all cylinders requires a diagnosis of what is holding the business back, clarity and focus on what is needed to move it forward, and then most importantly (although neglected in many strat planning processes,) a plan that compels people to action. Our process is backed by 45+ years of fine-tuning businesses of all sizes into well-oiled machines, delivered in a format that is easy to digest and activate. Dive into the details in this episode of our Strategic Counsel Podcast.
What this is not: a financial health check, a market analysis or check-the-box exercise.

Executive Coaching + Training
03
A team is only as good as its leader. So, it is imperative that each leader feels confident, competent and is infused with a healthy dose of emotional intelligence. This is offered to middle managers and above who are in charge of a team and/or business and is customized based on the needs of the leader and the organization. It can also include succession planning when it is time for leaders to move on or retire.
What this is not: “fixing” people to conform to a certain style.

Branding + Marketing Strategy
05
Executing an S+A Plan almost always includes development of the brand and how it is expressed both internally and externally through marketing, promotion and sales materials. Check out ForthRight People for all the services offered here.
What this is not: one-size-fits all approaches, uninformed execution

02
Organizational Development
Once you have your S+A plan, you need a team with the right skill and aptitude to deliver it. We will audit your team, its capabilities and the culture and make recommendations on how to strengthen it. This will be critical as most breakdowns occur at the people level. You will require a highly-functioning team to fuel your business.
What this is not: forced fun team building, a way to justify current bad behavior or a way to isolate individuals on the team.

04
Go-To-Market (GTM) Strategy
When it is time to grow and scale, do so with intention. Whether it is an incremental revenue stream, expanded lead/demand generation or geographical expansion, a robust road map is essential to set you, your team and your business up for success. Our road maps synthesize hundreds of launches and expansions to ensure due diligence is given to the people, places and things (yes, just like a noun) critical for trailblazing and mastering new terrain.
What this is not: a templated process and checklist.

MORE ABOUT US
Born from our “forthright” approach to always be respectfully straightforward (because who has time and money for anything else), ForthRight Business is an evolved way of approaching business strategy and development. It leverages our 45+ years of doing this work across businesses of all sizes, boosting them to meaningful growth and scale with teams and leaders who feel inspired, motivated and fulfilled.

Who We Are:

April Martini
April’s career may have been largely spent in creative agencies, but what she learned very early on was the necessity of learning her clients’ businesses in order to succeed in her various roles. With this knowledge and understanding, she excelled at solving the right problems for her clients across a diverse array of industries. As Co-Founder of ForthRight People, April brings focus to businesses in the B2B, service and non-profit spaces to identify actual business challenges and the path to solving them. Specifically, her role in strategic business planning lies in assessing the people infrastructure. Her focus is making sure the right people are in the right roles so that once the business plan is set, this recalibration allows the plan to roll out successfully. This means growth, consistency and elevation of the client and its business.
Anne Candido
Anne grew up at P&G spending her first decade in R&D and product development and her second in brand marketing and communications. Through this, she became a student of the business, growing expertise in the functions she worked in and with. Working in the businesses gave her intimate knowledge of where they break down and what it takes to truly activate them. As co-founder of ForthRight People, this education has been extended to include B2B, service-oriented businesses and nonprofits. Collectively, she has generated a depth of understanding that allows her to quickly assess a situation, bring light to underlying challenges, and connect the dots to identify opportunities to drive businesses forward. Her forthright approach ensures that leaders hear what they need to hear…not just what they want to hear. And though she pulls from her extensive library of leading brands and businesses of all sizes, she promises your strategy and action plan will be customized for your business. As your business’ mechanic, she will be focused on fixing what is broken and optimizing the infrastructure for health, longevity and performance.
